whew! this summer, i was not going to be the one to miss out on all the fun knitalongs, particularly the piņata knit-along! here it is!
now that i'm finished knitting my piņata, i have the time to put my "piņata knit-along" button up on the sidebar of the blog, and of course, list all the people who are also knitting piņatas, with links to their blogs, so you can click around and see everyone's progress, and what colors they are using to make their piņatas...
what? everyone's knitting tank tops again?
holy shit.
well. since we have upper arms like some people's thighs in this house, we don't knit tank tops. we knit piņatas. i love piņatas -- particularly the kind that announce no particular identity other than "mammal. quadraped." this one is made with some of the port wine cheddar cheese-colored stuff left over from the couch moebius, and some semi-handspun and felted stuff i made last summer. knowing all along that it was going to be a piņata.
yeah, i have a reason. of course i have a reason.
