VII. blocking

Like the seventh card in the traditional Major Arcana (the Chariot), this card represents will, mastery, and control; sometimes forcing the subject of that control against its own nature. In knitting, we do this by blocking.

Blocking is a step or two beyond “persuasion”; it’s domination. That does not necessarily imply that there will be casualties; as a matter of fact, if handled with finesse, this kind of control will bring about excellent and definitive results where other methods would have failed.

Block the hell out of it!
